Based on the client's needs, Mike can provide a highly-condensed version of the seminar in a breakout. Or he can delve more fully into the topic in trainings that encompass several hours or periodic sessions spread out over several months.

Mike will provide whatever degree of customization you need. He will either adapt one of his signature speeches to your particular business or industry. Or he will develop a speech from scratch, if you desire, including research and interviews with key figures in your organization. There is a slightly higher fee for speeches " designed from scratch" which require extensive research.

What arrangements does Mike need at the event site?

Mike's goal is to be as accomodating as possible as he works with event planners. Elsewhere on this site you can find guidance on what he needs by way of support both before and during your event.

What is Mike's fee schedule?

To obtain a copy of Mike's fee schedule electronically or by mail, use the online information request form elsewhere on this web site. Mike is glad to provide a customized fee schedule for multi-day or multi-event engagements.

Is a deposit required in order to book Mike?

Half of Mike's fee is expected as a deposit once he agrees to hold a date for you. Any date not secured by a deposit after 30 days will be made available to other event planners. Deposits are fully refundable for cancellations more than 60 days in advance. Half of the deposit is refundable for cancellations 30-60 days in advance. There are no refunds on cancellations less than 30 days in advance. However, non-refunded deposits may be applied to the deposit for Mike to speak to your group anytime within the next two years. Should Mike be unable to honor his commitment to you due to illness or travel complications beyond his control, your deposit will be refunded in full.

Does Mike discount his fee for non-profits?

Because of his lifelong service in non-profit organizations, Dr. Armour fully understands the limited budgets of many groups who provide valuable services to their community. He therefore accepts a few discounted or pro bono appearances each year with non-profit groups. For pro bono appearances he does ask that the host cover reasonable travel costs.

Mike has extensive experience with speaking through translators. Since the 1970s he has spoken to audiences in Asia, Latin America, Germany, the Balkans, Russia, and Ukraine, frequently with a native-language interpreter.
