A leader his entire life, Mike founded a highly successful private school when he was 33. By 37 he was one of America's youngest college presidents. And a year later he was a naval reserve commander in the field of intelligence. Mike eventually retired as a captain after five years of directing information technology and systems security for a nationwide intelligence community.

Along the way Mike has led a variety of faith-based institutions, served as CEO of an international humanitarian organization, and chaired several multi-million dollar fundraising drives. An award-winning author in the field of leadership, he has been published in over 20 languages.

After the collapse of communism he worked closely with educational leaders in Russia, Ukraine, and elsewhere in eastern Europe to foster character curriculum in their schools and universities.

Today he heads Strategic Leadership Development International, Inc. Based in Dallas, Texas his firm provides leadership consulting and coaching for entrepreneurs and for executives in some of America's largest corporations.
